Help keep plastic out of Georgica Pond
Friends of Georgica Pond Foundation will join with the Wainscott Citizens Advisory Committee and Surfrider Foundation to clean up the headwaters of Georgica Pond in celebration of National Cleanup Day, September 16, 2023.
Please join us at 12 noon at the Rt. 27 rest stop (kayak launch). Teams will pick up trash at both the south and north rest stop and at the Peconic Land Trust’s Georgica Pond Preserve. Wear bright colored clothing as we will be working near the highway. Gloves and bags will be provided. We look forward to seeing you there!
